Description:

This gastroenterological practice in Zug from the 1990s was extensively renovated and modernized within three weeks. The renovation included replacing the floor, a new lighting concept and some new furniture. The main focus, however, was to optimize the practice's processes and improve functionality. Our optimized renovation concept enabled us to gain two treatment booths in a former examination room. This means that there is no longer any change between male and female patients in the corridor in front of the reception. Another new room was planned and designed: a lounge for the staff was successfully separated from the laboratory. A special focus was on the heart of the practice, the endoscopy room. Here, both the spatial conditions and the cleaning processes were optimized to make the procedures more efficient. The cleaning room was equipped according to the latest standards in order to meet the highest requirements.

Special feature:

The waiting area, where patients stay before their examination, conveys a very calm and comfortable atmosphere through the use of wallpaper.

Description:

Since the practice in Rapperswil was integrated into an existing clinic building, the shape of the building influenced the spatial planning. All the rooms that do not require daylight are located in the inner core of the practice. The examination rooms and the waiting room are located on the outside.

In addition, the inner core divides the practice into two areas: examination rooms and endoscopy rooms. These form a self-contained area from a hygienic point of view as well as for olfactory reasons. As interior designers for practice planning, we have meticulously planned the endoscopy rooms to ensure that the scheduled processes are carried out smoothly.
